MINI has officially announced that production for the Coupe and Roadster ‘twins’ are coming to an end. This leaves the range with the 3-door, 5-door, Countryman, Paceman and the previous generation convertible.
What’s next for the MINI range then? A new convertible derived from the new MINI platform is set to be launched soon, and we’ve also seen a wagon-like new Clubman on test. There will also be a new Countryman, but word is that the Paceman might be axed when the new Countryman is out.
There might also be a new entry level MINI in the works in collaboration with Toyota. The new entry level MINI will slot in under the 3-door which has grown quite a bit in size. Such a model was previewed in the form of the MINI Rocketman concept from Geneva 2011.

Not surprising….look at the shit thats coming out from mini. 4 door, countryman….they look like fugly mutated.
the 4 door countryman is actually quite alright. It’s just the clubman, coupe & roadster that are pretty much pointless.
Just saw the coupe on the road…its gonna be a collector’s edition all right…
