Sabah quake: Perodua offers assistance to customers

A 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck Sabah on Friday, causing tragic deaths on Mount Kinabalu and damage to property elsewhere. In an effort to ease the burden of Perodua customers in the state who have been affected by the quake, the company is offering to assist by way of a free inspection, towing assist as well as discounts on selected parts.

“Our hopes and prayers are with the people of Sabah during this trying times and our condolences to the victims’ families. We sympathise with those affected and we wish to contribute to those recovering from this disaster,” said Perodua president and CEO Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh.

On the assistance given, Aminar said that Perodua will reimburse towing fees of up to RM100 to the nearest authorised Perodua service outlet for inspection and repairs. P2 is also offering a 20% discount on selected parts to Perodua owners whose vehicles were damaged by the quake, terms and conditions apply.
