Something fast is coming, says Mercedes-AMG in its latest trailer. D’uh! The people of Affalterbach aren’t exactly known for producing lullabies on four wheels. With that said, those hoping to catch a preliminary glimpse of the new model will disappointed as said trailer reveals nothing at all from a visual standpoint.
It will, however, please individuals who value aural pleasure as much as they do the act of driving itself. The 20-second video features nothing but shots of a circuit overlaid with a message for us to expect something – no dates, no car, zilch.
That won’t stop anyone from guessing what the new model is and we’d be willing to place a bet that it could be the a hotted-up variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT, which was recently launched in Malaysia. Should that be the case, the new model could bring back the ‘Black Series‘ nameplate or arrive on the scene with a new name altogether. Frankly, we couldn’t care what it’s called, just give us a road-going Mercedes-AMG GT3!
