Besides the Honda BR-V world debut, which we showed you via an all-round gallery earlier, Honda also rolled out a special edition HR-V at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Motor Show (GIIAS) 2015.
Now available for the Indonesian market, the Honda HR-V 1.8L E CVT Special Edition JBL Audio, to give it its full name, is for those with more discerning ears. As its name suggests, this SUV comes with JBL-tuned audio and speakers.
The touch screen head unit is from Kenwood, but there’s now a six-channel amplifier with built in digital sound processor. There’s also a special equaliser menu called “Fine Tuned”, which is claimed to offer thumping bass and maximum sound clarity.
The special edition is based on the top E spec car, which is powered by a 139 PS/169Nm 1.8 litre engine. In Indonesia, the HR-V also comes with a 120 PS/145 Nm 1.5 litre engine, with a shift stick option. It is priced at Rp. 348 juta in Indonesia, which amounts to RM103,551 at current rates.
