We’ve brought you clean and clear showroom floor shots of the Mercedes-Benz E 250 Edition E, and now, here’s a similar look at the E 200 Edition E variant. Introduced by Mercedes-Benz Malaysia late last year to refresh its local W212 range, the Edition E variants feature mostly cosmetic upgrades – more so in the E 250 than in the E 200 here.
Priced at an unchanged RM364,888, the E 200 Edition E gets 18-inch, five large-spoke alloy wheels that replace the standard 17-inch wheels, larger perforated front brake discs, “Mercedes-Benz” lettering on the brake calipers and an illuminated Three-Pointed Star on the front grille.
Elsewhere, the E 200 Edition E is left pretty much unchanged from the standard Avantgarde variant. The car still features a two-bar radiator grille, LED headlights with Dynamic Light System, adaptive LED brake lights, and all the usual trappings of the W212’s Avantgarde line.
Inside, this E 200 gets unique “Edition E” floor mats, while the revised, flatter face buttons are a part of the model’s minor product update. Apart from this, the E 200 Edition E continues to offer black ash wood trim, a leather-wrapped dashboard, full leather seats and more. The car is also notably specified with a COMAND Online infotainment system, a DVD player, a reverse camera, and an active parking assist system.
The powertrain too has been left completely untouched, with the E 200 maintaining its combination of a 184 hp/300 Nm 2.0 litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine and a 7G-Tronic seven-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The old 17-inch design is better.
Please buy more Proton so their management can get these E class. They claim the Proton is as good as Mercedes but just can’t understand why they wanna pay more to get a Mercedes instead of their own Proton.
Anything but Lexus.
Clearing old stock with new gimmick? New model just launch last month isnt it?
Yes. But not Malaysia. Malaysia wait another 6 month
The last good looking E Class. After this, all Merc sedan’s will have pea shaped rear lights that make them look like Jap or Korean sedans.
Stop telling customer (my friend) that this Edition E is all new E-class.
Facelift is facelift.
All-new is all-new.
