Toyota has been busy trying to inject some attitude into its all-new Prius lately (just watch the latest Super Bowl ad to see what we’re on about). To accompany this new bold and aggressive persona, Japanese tuning house Wald International has released some renderings for its impending styling package for the eco-car.
Known as the Sports Line package, the Prius gains a new front bumper, revised grille and a front lip spoiler. Carbon-fibre is used on the car’s canard, besides the triangular LED DRLs. Sporty side skirts are also part of the package, along with a rear diffuser and four exhaust pipes. The new wheels fitted are made of lightweight alloys that certainly look a size or two larger than the standard ones.
Wald’s creation certainly differs from its earlier preview of the Sports Line kit for the Prius. Its earlier attempt was certainly softer on the eyes compared to the visual assault we at the office are currently experiencing.
No changes to the car’s hybrid powertrain here as well, where the 97 hp/142 Nm 1.8 litre Atkinson-cycle VVT-i petrol four-cylinder engine is still paired to a pair of 71 hp/163 Nm electric motors for a maximum output of 121 hp.

OMG! After the previous posting of showing their “Toilet Bowl Ad”, now they add in “jamban kit” .. this brand is already becoming a joke
I am now convinced no amount of bodykits from anyone can make the Prius looks good.
Wow 90hp hybrid engine needs 4 tailpipes to vent out those imaginary fumes!
