BMW Malaysia introduces Ultimate Protection Insurance programme – extra coverage for car, owner

BMW Malaysia has introduced a new insurance programme that offers additional coverage for selected BMW vehicles as well as their owners and drivers. The Ultimate Protection Insurance, as it’s called, is being made available from BMW Credit Malaysia, and is applicable for all vehicles financed by it.

Items covered by the programme include key care protection of up to RM1,000, flood coverage protection of up to RM30,000, rim protection for up to RM1,000 and GAP insurance protection for up to RM10,000. Additionally, the insurance programme also offers coverage and protection for owners in accidental death cases for up to RM100,000 and total permanent disability relief for a sum of up RM100,000.

There’s also a personal effects coverage for vehicle break-in for up to RM3,000, a special relief for up to RM 10,000 and, for a maximum of six months, coverage of monthly instalments of up to RM2,500 per month for a hire purchase loan repayment.

The Ultimate Protection Insurance programme is available for all new BMW vehicles that were recently granted customised Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) status incentives – the BMW 118i Sport, 120i M Sport, 318i Luxury, 320i Sport, 330i M Sport, 320d Gran Turismo, 328i Gran Turismo, 520d M Sport, 520i M Sport, 528i M Sport, X3 xDrive20i and X3 xDrive20d.

Other selected BMW vehicles that are covered by the Ultimate Protection Insurance programme include the 218i Active Tourer, 320i M Sport, 320d M Sport, 730Li, 740Li, X1 xDrive20i and X5 xDrive35i.
