Porsche World Roadshow 2016 – get in, get driving

Porsche World Roadshow 2016 18

The Porsche World Roadshow (PWRS) is back, and the 2016 edition – hosted by Sime Darby Auto Performance (SDAP), the official importer of Porsche vehicles in Malaysia – is currently being held at the Sepang International Circuit from July 15 to July 21.

The driving event has been held in over 45 countries worldwide, and Malaysia is its latest stop, with more than 280 participants across Asia destined to enjoy a unique Porsche driving experience.

Under the guidance of professional Porsche-certified instructors, participants have the opportunity to enhance their driving skills as part of the PWRS syllabus, including braking, slalom, on-track driving and an off-road experience, all across an action-packed, one-day programme.

They also get to sample nearly the entire range of Porsche models on the Sepang International Circuit from behind the wheel. This time out, the 22 models on hand to deliver said thrills include the Macan, Cayenne, Panamera and 911, in various variants.

Participants at this year’s roadshow are among the very first to preview and try out the latest iteration of the Boxster – as has been reported, the 718 has being previewed at the event ahead of its official launch in Malaysia. In case the number plates aren’t already a giveaway, almost all the cars used for PWRS 2016 were flown in from Germany specifically for the event.

With a wide array of Porsche models available, and with trained professionals on hand to explain every detail about them, participants won’t be left in the dark when it comes to the best that Porsche has to offer. If you’re looking for an immersive Porsche experience, this one isn’t to be missed.

80% of all Porsches in Malaysia are recon Porsche because SDAP overprice their cars. Will SDAP get angry if AP Porsche cars come to this event?
