Fancy a brand-new Toyota Sienta 1.5V or a trip to Japan? Well, those are the prizes up for grabs in UMW Toyota Motor’s Toyota Hilux Buy & Win contest, which is ongoing from now until December 31, 2016.

During the campaign, customers only need to purchase a new Toyota Hilux to automatically qualify for the contest. As mentioned earlier, the grand prize is a new Toyota Sienta 1.5V worth RM99,900, which recently made its launch debut back in August.

The versatile MPV is powered by a 1.5 litre four-cylinder engine making 107 PS at 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm at 4,200 rpm, which is mated to a CVT with seven virtual ratios. Packing a host of practical features, the Sienta also stands out from the crowd with its unconventional design. For a closer look at the Sienta, do check out our walk-around video of the MPV, here.

The contest will also see three customers stand a chance to win a consolation prize – a five days three nights all-expense paid trip to Tokyo, Japan for two. Additionally, customers who test drive the Hilux will also be entitled to receive free Toyota merchandise (while stock lasts).

Those interested will also be glad to know that the company is offering a cash rebate of up to RM4,000 to those who purchase the Hilux for a limited period. The promotion is available at all UMW Toyota Motor branches as well as its authorised dealers nationwide but only for purchasers who register their vehicle for private use in Peninsular or East Malaysia.

In Western Countries, all contest do not require the person to buy anything. This is law. You can enter any contest free.

In Malaysia, you must buy a car to win another car. What rip off.

Hello UMW, don’t cheat Malaysians pls

Why don’t you give cheaper cars instead of doing this gimmick? Do you know that even if you offer free flights and hotel to Japan, most Malaysians cannot afford Japan?

Food and travel is so expensive. You win free also, still you need about RM10k just for food and travel within Japan.

Those bodohs in Toyota UMW never think when they offer a prize. It should also include at least US$2000 spending money in Japan.

Hello greedy GLC UMW. You want to give people crappy Sienta as your prize when you are making billions from Malaysians charging overpriced cars?

The least you should give is a Camry Hybrid as your prize. You give this palat Sienta cause it is not selling well and you want to clear stocks piling up in the hot sun yard.

    • No need give free Camry Hybrid also most my pipu will be happy. Just sell your Hybrid with incentive given by gov. Hybrid costlier then non hybrid from UMW, bloody hell. This contest more to sell over stock Hilux I presume.
