Volkswagen Passengers Cars Malaysia (VPCM), together with WN Motorworld, has launched the new Volkswagen Tebrau 3S Centre in Johor.
The new facility, a RM1.5 million investment by WN Motorworld, serves as an upgrade to the company’s previous interim facility. It will cater and support both Volkswagen sales and aftersales services in the areas of Tebrau, Johor Bahru, Kota Tinggi, Pasir Gudang and locations around the Iskandar developments.
Among the highlights of the new 3S centre is a showroom capable of displaying up to eight cars as well as a service centre with seven service bays. The latter is manned by experienced aftersales staff, supported by the latest diagnostics, service and other aftersales equipment approved by Volkswagen Germany.
Also part of the 13,123 square feet facility is customer lounge that offers complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity, a café serving light refreshments and a television. The 3S centre’s sales facilities operate daily from 9am to 7pm, whereas aftersales services are available Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 5.30pm, and closed on public holidays.
“We recognise the importance of a strong connection with our Volkswagen owners, and we are continuously working with our dealer partners to ensure that this translates to an improved overall ownership experience. The addition of this Tebrau 3S centre definitely strengthens this connection with our customers down south as they experience better access and offerings for their sales and aftersales needs,” said Erik Winter, managing director of VPCM.

The centre will also be hosting an open house event on the weekends of March 4-5 and March 18-19, with plenty of un activities for the whole family, along with test drives.

VW Malaysia shot themselves on the foot with their past actions on stock clearance and slowness in opening service centres when their sales were so good. The infamous dry clutch dsg issue certainly did not help. Shame as they have desirable products.
There is no 2.0 Passat test drive car.
