Factory matte wrap options for Euro Toyota C-HR, 86

The Toyota C-HR and 86 are now available in Europe with unique matte-finished foils, making it easy for those already set on a no-shine appearance.

Exclusive for the C-HR’s “Style Selection” equipment line, Toyota is offering the four standard factory finishes (Metalstream gray, Titanium blue, Nova white and Marlingrau) in matte for a price of 1,850 euros (RM9,155). The A- and C-pillars, wing mirrors, roof and rear spoiler are in the factory onyx-black contrast paint; giving these panels a matte finish will cost 140 euros (RM692).

The GT86 can be had in six new matte wraps – Coffee brown, Bold black, Metal gray, Ice silver, Frosted blue and Mamba green – for 1,890 euros (RM9,358). All foils require the choice of a basic finish. Toyota recommends Furious Black Metallic for the slightest contrast between the non-folded surfaces (visible basic finish in the door opening area, the door fold, the engine compartment) and the folded outer surfaces.

The Toyota C-HR has been previewed and spotted on the road in Malaysia. An end-2017 or 2018 launch perhaps?

So much Malaysian waiting to get this CHR.
Hopefully UMW give good price and spec.
My opinion either 1.8 hybrid and 2.0 na the best option. 1.2 turbo just too small for over 1 ton CHR. Long term will surely badly under power.

With much anticipation, many of us have waited in baited breath for the Toyota C-HR to hit our shores.
In all, what makes the C-HR so desirable is the radical styling. But without compromise, the sensible interior space, together with the flat cargo loading area, makes this one very attractive Toyota crossover. Moving forward..

If the government doesn’t strict new car sales in taxes, I believe UMW will have no problem bringing in 20 other models here. Like avensis, verso, crown, mark x, Prado, estima, Prius, mirai, rav4… Etc

To assemble cars locally requires the necessary jigs as basic tool which costs millions of ringgit (iT is hard to recover costs of jigs alone if number of cars sold is low)
