The F90 M5 is BMW’s hottest performance model of the moment, and here in this video the latest super-sedan is depicted in a household where Mother is making her way home from work. Naturally, the route back home will showcase the M5’s performance and capabilities, including a detour to a racetrack for some tail-out antics.
Despite the M xDrive all-wheel drive system which is now deemed necessary in order to effectively transmit its 600 hp and 750 Nm of torque to the road surface, though AWD can be locked out by switching off DSC, turning it into an old-school (of sorts) drift beast, somewhat like its arch-rival from Stuttgart, the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S and its own drift mode function.
Love for the M5 runs in this family too, it seems, with the son enjoying his own E60 M5 (a miniature model, therefore sadly without the naturally-aspirated V10 soundtrack), and upon Mom’s arrival at home, Dad’s E39 M5 – as indicated by its licence plate – is parked in the garage as well.
Starting from RM1,000,000 in Malaysia before options, the F90 M5 starring in this clip is kitted out with parts from the M Performance catalogue, including carbon fibre kidney grilles, front bumper lip extensions, side vents and exhaust tips. Even Mom here wears carbon-fibre look M sunglasses. Standard M5 exterior or full M Performance kit – which is your pick?

The M5 may be a good car, but this is poor ad. It made me as a layman question the editing, framing, sound and overall direction of the commercial.
Nice Korean design….opsss..it’s a BMW!
Yeah, I know what U mean. It has Head lights, tail lights bonnet & also 4 tires. Oops, it also look like a Accordana, Camry & Mazda6 too.
City rear.
Really nice car but whats with the tri-color decals all over the car?
Msport colour
they should just leave the rear alone.. too much tri color decal
whats the meaning of the commercial? to show how bad the sound of the new v8 is compared to the e39 and e60?
Best part of the commercial is the E39 m5..
