Volkswagen Alor Setar has just been upgraded from a 3S centre to a 4S facility, thanks to the addition of a body and paint workshop. The opening of this centre, which is operated by Lee Motors Autohaus, brings the total number of Volkswagen 4S centres in Malaysia to 10.
The three-storey building located in Aman Central, Kedah, spans over 35,352 square feet. The showroom is located on the ground floor, aftersales on the second floor and the body and paint shop is on the third floor.
As its name suggest, the body and paint shop offers services such as accident repair, paint touch-up and respray, panel knocking recovery, chassis alignment and paint mixing. It features a spray booth, two preparation bays, a polishing and finishing bay, as well as a two-post hoist bay.
There’s also a Car-0-Liner alignment bay that’s manned by trained professional panel beater and painters. Additionally, VW Alor Setar uses Cromax Pro Waterbase, which is claimed to be one of the world’s best water-based paints. Other notable equipment include cargo lifts and diagnostics tools that are approved by Volkswagen Germany.
