The V177 Mercedes-AMG A35 4Matic Sedan is arriving in Malaysia tomorrow, with Mercedes-Benz Malaysia taking to Instagram for a little tease beforehand. The W177 A-Class hatchback arrived in the country last October, and this is now the four-door’s turn. This also powers the W177 A35 4Matic hatch, with the added benefit of a boot that grows to 420 litres in the sedan.
This is the mid-range version powered by the German firm’s M260 turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with 306 hp at 5,800 rpm and 400 Nm of torque from 3,000 to 4,000 rpm; outputs are sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and an AMG Performance variable all-wheel drive system that can send up to 50% of torque to the rear wheels.
The setup propels the A35 Sedan from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds with Race-Start launch control activated. Inside, we can expect the junior AMG sedan to feature the marque’s Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) infotainment system, while the optional AMG Performance steering wheel sports a rotary dial that offers access to Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport + and Individual drive modes.
At its global launch, the A35 Sedan’s exterior had the optional AMG Aerodynamics Package, which adds a front splitter, front dive planes, enlarged rear spoiler, rear air vent shrouds and pronounced diffuser blades. Rolling stock meanwhile is a choice of either 18- or 19-inch wheels, which house cross-drilled brakes with four-pot, 350 mm disc brakes in front and 330 mm single-piston caliper disc brakes at the back.
For reference, the previous-generation CLA45 arrived in Malaysia as the junior AMG four-door wearing a price tag of RM408,888; there had not been a 35 AMG equivalent at the time. How much do you think this Mercedes-AMG A35 Sedan will cost at its Malaysian launch?

For a sports sedan, the A35 should priced btw Civic TCP ckd RM130k and 330i ckd RM289k.
Won’t be cheaper than CTR lah.
Dreaming, it never happens in malaysia
Impossible lar bro. A250 ald 263k. A35 sedan shud be 320-350k price tag
While I’m all for a RWD setup, the up to 50% rear torque sounds mighty interesting too. If its got a drift mode, then Mercedes might have a winner. The fact that it looks handsome also helps.
Is it too much to dream for this car to be priced around 320k?
