Auto Bavaria’s BMW Drive & Dive event blends the joys of the G20 330i M Sport and Pulau Tenggol

Driving and diving. For those who are so inclined, there really are no more pleasurable things to do over a weekend, than those two. And when it comes to driving and diving, surely the BMW 330i M Sport and Pulau Tenggol in Terengganu are right up there among the best.

Auto Bavaria – the largest retail and service dealership for BMW, MINI and Motorrad in Malaysia – recently organised its first ever BMW Drive & Dive event, which gave participants the chance to drive the latest G20 330i from KL to Terengganu, before making the short hop to Pulau Tenggol by boat.

The 12 lucky participants started their weekend adventure at the newly-renovated Auto Bavaria Kuala Lumpur facility in the city centre in the wee hours of the morning. After a supper and an introduction to the 330i by Vi Thim Juan, AB’s head of business operations, they set off for Kuala Dungun on the east coast.

The route was a combination of highways and trunk roads, which showed off the G20’s admirable blend of cruising comfort and refinement, and of course, dynamics.

No better reward for the long drive than four days of scuba diving in Tenggol. Auto Bavaria says that its philosophy is to continuously provide customers with not only high quality products and services, but also a “priceless ownership experience that commensurates with the positioning of the brands” it represents.

The BMW 330i M Sport, now available in CKD locally assembled form for RM288,800 on the road excluding insurance, is available for sampling at all Auto Bavaria outlets nationwide.

I have asked several people, but have not got a reasonable answer. My question:
8 years ago, the 325i was selling at RM309k. Now the 330i costs Rm288k.
The latter has better hp and a host of other things. Are BMWs getting better and cheaper at the same time?

8 years ago, if you bought a condo at RM309k.
Sell it off today, the profits Rm288k you could buy the brand new 330i in cash. no joke.

BMW has produce so many engine but the engine cooling system is still unreliable worse then Mercedes,Toyota,Honda or even Proton. What BMW R&D is doing are you going to last this forever. Most of the car I owned is having a good engine cooling system at the same engine cc. Please BMW, technology has improved but BMW is still repeating the same issues over and over again.Learn and move forward. The other car system can last longer and more reliable. On Malaysia road nobody dare to drive a 15 years old BMW except mechanic himself. But we can see old Mercedes, Toyota, Honda Mitsubishi and many more. BMW is a scary car. I hope this comment can help improve BMW.

8 years ago, RON97 petrol @RM1.90 now it is @RM2.67. See the difference? You pay more in the long term.
