Overview
The Zeekr X is a five-seat C-segment electric SUV for buyers seeking a compact EV with either 335 hp rear-wheel drive or 489 hp all-wheel drive. It starts from RM158,800. Both versions use a 66 kWh battery and single-ratio automatic transmission, with range reaching 445 km.
X in 2026 — what's new
The 2026 Zeekr X launches in Malaysia as the Premium RWD and Flagship AWD, following its KLIMS preview. It brings longer range, with the RWD rated at 440 km and the AWD at 445 km. No later X-specific revision follows the June 2026 launch, so the two-variant line-up carries on unchanged. The early 2026 preview quotes DC charging at up to 230 kW.

Which variant to buy
Most buyers should choose the Premium at RM158,800. Its 66 kWh battery, 440 km range and 335 hp make it the sensible entry point, and it remains rear-wheel drive. The Flagship costs RM175,800, a RM17,000 increase for all-wheel drive, 489 hp and a modest 5 km range gain to 445 km from the same-capacity battery. Pay more only if four-wheel traction and the extra 154 hp matter more than the price gap. Both seat five.

Verdict
The Zeekr X has a clear two-part brief: Premium is rear-driven with 335 hp, while Flagship adds AWD and 489 hp. Its price placement is less straightforward. The Premium is RM1,148 below the Xpeng G6 but RM8,900 above the Honda e:N1; Flagship is RM12,000 above the BYD Sealion 7. The Flagship has to justify its extra spend chiefly through its added power and AWD.
