Volkswagen’s Iroc Concept shows us a preview of how the new Volkswagen Scirocco Golf-based Coupe will look like, although we can probably discard it now since Volkswagen is going back to the drawing board to develop a new corporate nose instead of sticking with the Audi-ish single frame look. Anyway, that won’t stop us from enjoying this video of the Volkswagen Iroc in motion right? Video after jump.

Maybe is testing it's TSC, ABS function… lol.. But i wish to have that one.. looks better handling and more powerful then previous Golf GTI… Hope it replace satria neo next with this lol!
Looks like a baby monster playing in water. All that accelerate, powerslide, stop, then repeat thing gets boring fast. Nice car, but I wonder why they don't drift it properly instead, they're making the car look lame like this. Nice car though, I like it a lot, way meaner than the Golf GTi.
Me just came back from drift class……..Judging from the video, the tester must be lazy, a girl or they are doing a specific test to the car ie ABS, rolling, cadence etc……..A lot of company is organising defensive n offensive driving nowadays, i think the Govt will enforce it someday……..for me, its purely fun n passion………..
The car was simply put up by various parts from the parts bin to at least let it 'GO', So they cannot put it into high revs, do dangerous manouverings and hence the wet 'almost cement-like' floor to give it some drama. In fact i believe what's still inside is a pile of VW rubbish.
feels like sumone playing with an RC car.. lol..
the handling is pretty impressive i must say.
Nice one
Wow, it looks very agile… and this is still in concept form! Amazing…

Fast & Furious Part IV: German Drift :)
Little Green Jaw..
Woooo…. can I bring my car to this track please???
The previous Scirocco was a beautiful coupe. This… looks more like a hot hatch but handling looks great and those are some mean looking 20" wheels!
Mommy I want one!
Look like this Iroc has traction control.
Waah….can drift sum more…..coolll..

maybe instead of scrapping the design they should " pass " it on to Proton.
nowadays many cak makers are infected "dead fish mouth" hood!
CRV, Sirroco, Subaru, Lancer07 & bla bla bla….

Untill then…. i hope this is the upcoming Golf.
too bad its fwd though… would be nice if they produce one with rwd or 4wd…
maybe a special version called Golf Scirocco
Nice, I thought it was a CG. Still looks like CG rather than real
remind me of a skull….
i think they purposely used a wet track to skid/drift/slide the car around…doubt it would handle the same on a dry track
Is it my eye or it's "Scirocco" written on the plate instead of Iroc.
kenfresh,
scIROCco. that's how they got the name.
anyway, Hand brake turns and reverse flicks are no big deal, especially on a wet handling circuit.
reincarnation of the scirocco………..
Great one after Golf GTi
