now the G livina is selling well, they increase the price to max RM 2k….wonder those who already booked the car and waiting list are as long as 6months…….

what is the basis point for their increase? so popular demand?
our Ringgit is actually appreciating against neighbouring country except Singapore…..

if the reason is steel price, i can see alot of thing will increase as well…….

maybe ETCM become arrogance since G livina sells like hot cake…..

I can understand if they want to increase the Livina price, considering its got lotsa orders.

But why the Sentra? Shouldn’t they be reducing it further to clear the damned stock? Bloody old car already, shld sell for cheap2

They increase the price so the discounts won’t be too painful on their accounts maybe.

People know Nissan gives discounts, free bodykits etc…..

What a arrogant ETCM! Buyers should stay away from this company. Infamous for selling older model cars with high tag price mere to justify huge discount.

G Livina not rteally a good car considering RM97.3k vs RM109k Altis 1.8E come with auto AC, better dynamic car though from different segment but better handling. BTW Altis also not without flaw in pricing, slightly overpriced around 4-5k but clearly better bet.

I believe all other car makers will revise their car prices (to higher) soon.

If you notice, newly launch cars (like Altis, Mazda 6, Accord) now comes with higher than expected price.

Good news for Toyota. The higher price for Livina will eventually make avanza more affordable to own. Toyota will say “Thank you” nissan.

It’s simply a case of demand exceeding supply, IMHO. So why not make a quick buck? They are just thinking like any ‘good’ businessman! Of course the price increase does not make much sense, since most of the components comes from ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia. in oil prices?

Guys, we can still live if we use our current ride, so boycott this company. Actually car companies should slash the price across the board gradually before 2010.

Instead, they simply raise the prices.

As global new car prices increases, its natural to see car distributors hike up the price as well to take the advantage.

However, I dont see its necessary to increase the pricing of its old cars; sentra, serena & xtrail. Its already known that ETCM is greedy, that’s why they can’t even beat the market share from Honda Malaysia or UMWT.

M’sia is the only country still selling this zombie car..itu pun mau naik harga kah??!!! Cannot understand.. everybody buy proton lah.. if got budget go and buy Toyota or Honda.

Don’t bother with the new Frontier, it’s shit. Looks good but no where near as tough as the old girl bcoz it’s based on a luxury suv, get the Triton or Hilux

Mitlaveno, I don’t disputes the livina got better suspension and look better than the Avanza But if those people prefer the car for town used with the budget below 70K than I think avanza make more sense than Livina due to :

    1) Higher seat command better view.
    2) 2nd row air-con provide better cooling to the cabin and 3rd row seat.
    3) Save 16K for car price+ 2.5K interest for 5 years which is equivalent to RM 740.00 per annum and equal to RM 60.00 petrol per month.
    4) Lower long term depreciation cost.
    5) Bulletproof VVTI engine from Toyota
    6) Parts are cheaper with OEM product.

I am so please with my new CRV now HONDA brand not any N brand – will not encourage any family member to buy N brand except for HOnda or Toyota.
