BMW 335iS to get its own bumper treatment

E92 LCI – 330d M-Sport

We’ve already seen how the ‘standard’ E92/E93 3-Series Coupe/Cabriolet looks like in its LCI facelifted form, and earlier today we checked out how the regular ‘M-Sport’ version of the E92 facelift will look like.

E92 LCI – 335is M-Sport

But between the regular version, the M-Sport version and the venerable top of the range M3 versions, there will be an additional model called the 335is which will have a slightly modified look as you can see above.

The front bumper replaces the foglamps with a thin horizontal bar while at the rear, the diffuser design integrated into the rear bumper is more aggressive and presents a middle ground between the looks of the regular M-Sport and the M3 bumper.

    I think BMW themselves leaked these pictures cuz the facelifts was soooOOOOooo ugly , that they don't want potential buyers to cross them off their shopping list, now with M-trinkets , it looks like a car worth buying…

    mmmmm….if i can afford it i'll take the white 1 with the the most frugal engine possible…

    eeerrr… is liquid the only one who does not understand what LCI stands for?

    or is he one of those that complains fervently whenever a manufacturer does "facelifts" and says its just cosmetic…

    @shawal

    E92/E93 were done by Adrian van Hoydonk already, Bangles successor. Adrian has been in charge for all BMW newreleases designs since ~2006 (E92 was the first).

    335is is a US version of the N54 plus BMW Performance Kit, as the US 335i 2010 modls will not get the new N55 engine (Twinscrollturbo and Valvetronic) due to lack of consistent high fuel quality in all US. Furthermore the "BMW Performance Parts", BMWs own tuning label since beginning of 2008, are barely available in the US, so is the BMW Performance Kit for 335i that lifts power from 306PS/400Nm to 326PS/450Nm (released in Europe in 02/2009). The 335iS is just a version that gets this kit installed at the assembly plant already.

    I like the new 3 series design, keeping the originality of 3 series, not like 2005-8/9 models, so awful.
