Mazda BT-50 – new ad on oto.my hints at pricing

Remember the previous post about the Mazda BT-50 being priced at RM87,328 on our sister site, oto.my? Well, here’s another ad for the Japanese pick-up truck with a different price.

The advertiser listed this truck as having a 2.2 turbodiesel that produces 150 PS, has a six-speed automatic and Bluetooth connectivity. The price for the truck is RM92,800, which sounds more believable than the previous RM87,328 for a 3.2 litre.

The price doesn’t differ much when compared to its cousin, the 2.2 XLT automatic Ranger. At RM95,888, the Ranger is RM3,088 dearer than the Mazda.

Until it is officially announced, we should take this price with a pinch of salt. With that said, at least you now have a guestimate on how much you need to fork out to get one.

Sales of Hilux in countries such as Thailand and Australia , maybe as well in Malaysia , are still way much more higher every each month even when other models such as BT 50 or Ranger do existed which are upgraded with ESC and lots more for a significant on-road safety . And yet, thousands chosed Hilux over other brands. Why is that so ? I guessed the new 2013 Hilux will generate higher sales even with minor upgrades and softer looks.

Well. Just another pick up truck.
Interior space still lack behind T. Hilux.

Lack of creativity to be diferent from other.

Should consider 2 1/2 cab design or create half canopy from the back seat for luggang with the adjustable pushable backseat for utility usage.
