BMW Malaysia will be updating the CKD BMW 320d Modern Line with a new interior colour scheme from the August 2013 production. The new 320d Modern will now have a black interior with black instrumentation dials. The previous Oyster interior with will be discontinued.
The Malaysian CKD F30 3-Series’s Modern Line trim was pretty daring on BMW Malaysia’s part, as it featured a rather Volvo-like bright Oyster interior that even had brownish ‘Oyster Dark’ instrumentation dials. The new instrument dials will be black (without the red line) like the Luxury Line’s.

This doesn’t look like a new design. It just prove that the earlier one was ugly which is quite obvious !
Probably cause Oyster is pretty difficult to take care, although it is nice. Seen the units at the CPO section, you can see the dirt sadly.
so the sport line will discontinued?
Lol.
Bad Badddd choice….
Interior looks lame and boring,
mehh
why change when the car is selling well.. this interior looks boring..
no gps, six speaker stereo…bmw u are joking la…
The new interior cost cheaper than the previous F30. Nowadays they call it “updating”.. Amazing….
In this day and age, still no GPS for the modern line? I believed many new car buyers are willing to buy for such facilities.
