While the Levorg Concept will preview the next-generation Legacy wagon at the Tokyo Motor Show, LA Auto Show-goers will get to see the Subaru Legacy Concept. You guessed it, this one hints at the sedan version of Subaru’s upcoming sixth-gen flagship model.
Described as a “dynamic, secure and practical saloon car,” the Legacy Concept gets a sleek side profile with coupe-like proportions. At the front lies a large hexagonal grille that Subaru claims debuted on the VIZIV Concept, though we distinctly remember seeing it on the Advanced Tourer Concept two years ago.
Subaru’s trademark all-wheel drive system is present under the sheet metal, connected to a driver-focused cockpit on the inside. There’s a smartphone-like centre console and instrument panel (think large touchscreen panels) that stretch over to the rear cabin. The four seats are wrapped in brown leather upholstery with blue accents.
Like the way it looks? Don’t get too excited yet, though, as Subaru is known to water down their concept vehicles when it comes to production models. Remember the stunning WRX Concept from early this year? Spyshots of the production-bound version have not been promising, and don’t let us start on the current Impreza-previewing Impreza Design Concept from 2010.

It’s just me, but this is how I feel like a next-gen Camry should look like. =)
Toyota has never been bold with the Camry’s design much like Mazda with the 6 or Honda with their Accord(late 80s-late 90s). They have always been design that were reliable and dependable. But from what I can see, Toyota’s trend is to Incorporated the latest Lexus design with the next gen Toyota. the current XV50 have alot of pre-FL Lexus LS in the design.
wonderfully design, They’ve just need to input 80% of this design, possibly just changing the C-pillar to make what would be Subaru’s first truly handsome looking car[like what Mazda did with the Takeri > 6] but the WRX-concept > WRX transformation is leaving with huge doubts.
Neat, clean and cantiq, with tinge of sportiness, especially the front.
Who said Subaru has no designers?
Other makes please don’t go and copy.
Rear bumper area needs a bit of polishing.
Looks like the designer from Hyundai lah…
front grill look like almera…
Noo…looks like attrage! LMAO
almera??in almera looks ugly..but for this car is handsome haha
Actually, no matter how it looks, it will never cure the hailat look on your face as you are a kimchi owner
no matter how, still better than your hilux sorhai pan7 on your face as you are sushi owner..
and you looks like almari
looks like hyundai IMO..that hexagonal grill n body side moulding
1 word to describe this days japanese car. Lame!
Most manufacture cut cost in term of design. Coz 1 special curve will cost a lot to them. What if many curves then? So the way jap car looks is very bored.
I see 2+1 door style. I guess no one else noticed it yet.
go fix ur eye dude..!!
nice concept. but how would it be in production. subaru has been known to disappoint
Damn, this chick is beautiful. Good job Subaru.
the Legacy continues……
