For six consecutive years now, BMW Malaysia has been the automotive partner for the CIMB Classic tournament. This year is no exception, as the company has handed over a fleet of models to be used to be used as official cars for the upcoming golfing event.
Happening from October 29 to November 1, said official vehicles include the BMW 5 Series and BMW X5 models. They will be used to ferry players, officials and VIPs throughout the entire duration of the tournament.
The brand will also be displaying the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, X6 and X1 sDrive 20i at the event, with the BMW i8 placed on the tournament grounds. Players will also stand to win the plug-in hybrid coupe as it’s is the Hole-in-One Prize.
Alan Harris, MD of BMW Group Malaysia, said that golf is one of the three main sporting initiatives that the German brand is committed to worldwide – the other two being motorsports and sailing.
