Honda displays custom HR-Vs alongside 2017 Honda Civic, facelifted CR-Z, Pilot and Pioneer 1000 at SEMA

At SEMA this year, Honda is displaying a list of custom exhibits alongside the facelifted CR-Z and the 2017 Honda Civic. The most notable ones are four customised Honda HR-Vs. The other vehicles include a Honda Pioneer 1000, Pilot Baja Chase Vehicle and a Pilot Elite Concept “Black Edition,” as part of the lineup.

The four Honda HR-Vs present at the brand’s booth, are customised by four different tuners. The first is done up by Tjin Edition. Painted in a pinkish hue, with gold-colour rims and a wide-body kit to match. The slammed HR-V looks more like a four-door hatchback now, a pretty sporty one for that matter. Inside, Tjin Edition’s HR-V receives custom trim as well.

Bisimoto Engineering’s custom version seems quite standard from the outside, but knowing how the tuners usually apply their magic, most of the mods are probably under the hood. Unfortunately, no details have been given for this souped-up HR-V. What we can gather from the pictures, is that the seats have been swapped out with Buddy Club sport seats.

Fox Marketing has given its white HR-V a front spoiler, side skirts and a custom rear bumper, all coated in a black gloss paint, same goes to the roof. Also, it receives a pair of smoked-out lamps in the back, five-double-spoke rims, and a Magnaflow exhaust system.

Uniquely, MAD Industries chose to pair its tricked-out SUV with a bike. Aside from those “mad” rims, it comes fitted with a gloss black front spoiler, skirts and rear bumper. The interior gets slight additions such as custom leather wrappings, with white pieces on the edges of the front seats.

To be used as a support vehicle in the Score Baja 1000 off-road race, is the Pilot Baja Chase Vehicle, based on the 2016 Honda Pilot, dressed up in desert racing livery. The other, based on the same SUV, is called the Pilot Elite Concept “Black Edition,” which features a host of Honda Genuine Accessories, complemented by that dark get-up.

As for the Honda Pioneer 1000 (pictured above), this all-terrain vehicle is dressed up in a custom desert racing livery. No surprises here, as this little off-roader will also be taking part in the Score Baja 1000, where it will travel side-by-side with the Pilot Baja Chase Vehicle, to assist in the race.

The pink one looked so familiar. I must had seen it on Malaysian road from a modded FLX.

Proton still leading the fashion in a way.
