A new design package has been released for the facelifted Volkswagen Scirocco R. The entire package, priced at 600 euros (RM2,760), includes a new paint job and a new set of wheels.
The Scirocco R Black Style, as it’s called, comes with a black roof, which can be combined with colour schemes available for the Scirocco R, including pure white, urano grey, indium grey metallic, rising blue metallic, pyramid gold metallic, ultra violet metallic and oryx white mother of pearl effect.
Completing the “Black Style” package is a set of black painted 19-inch Lugano alloy wheels (which come included with wheel locks) wrapped in 235/35R19 tyres. Elsewhere, the Scirocco R also gets black door mirror caps, as part of the package.
As this is just a design package, power figures are unchanged. As a refresher, the Scirocco R uses a 2.0 litre TSI engine that makes 255 PS and 330 Nm of torque. Paired to a six-speed DSG gearbox. The R goes from 0-100 km/h in six seconds flat. In Malaysia, the Scirocco R is priced at RM289,888.

Roc R uses DQ250 gearbox. The one plagued with problems is the DQ200 (found in 1.2/1.4 TSI).
Sorry, but the Scirocco R uses the DQ350, designed for torque range up to 350 Nm.

DSG issue is just a tip of an iceberg. Many things can spoil by itself which you won’t find happen in Japanese/Korean cars. Their after-sales service has HUGE-gap for improvement here. Be prepared if you plan to own a Hoaxwagen.
Love the Scirocco design. Simply unique and stands out the crowd among general cars.

Yup, am running 19″ HREs and PSS on my 335 at RM15k with B12 setup. The point is, with cast wheels, there are so many more choice and with trade in of your new ori wheels and tyre, u can prob get a more “non standard” design for marginally more.
i thought the facelifted roc r has 280ps and the prefacelift is 255? no?
