BMW Japan has announced a BMW 750Li Celebration Edition Individual to commemorate the automaker’s 100th anniversary. The special G12 7er is part of the five celebration models that have been announced for the market. Priced at 18.8 million yen (RM696,000), the edition – which begins selling on July 9 – will be limited to just 70 units.
The special long-wheelbase model – with a Design Pure Excellence exterior – adopts a variety of equipment from the BMW Individual programme, led by an Azurite Black body-finish and 20-inch BMW Individual styling 649 forged wheels with 245/40 front and 275/35 rear tyres.
The interior – also featuring Design Pure Excellence elements – is dressed in a ton of Individual items. There’s a Merino caramel full leather interior, and the Alcantare roof lining is also finished in the colour, while contrast is provided by a piano black finish interior trim, and other Individual bits include a multi-function steering wheel with wood trim and door sill plates.
The edition also features a sky lounge panorama glass sunroof, rear comfort package plus, rear massage seats and a heat comfort package as well as a Bowers & Wilkins 1,400 watt, 16-speaker Diamond surround sound system. It’s also equipped with remote parking and an ambient air package, among other things.
No mechanical changes to the edition, the 4.4 litre Twin-Turbo V8 mill in the 750 Li good for 450 PS at 5,500 rpm and 650 Nm from 1,800 to 4,500 rpm. Partnering the powertrain is an eight-speed auto transmission.
