The G30 BMW 5 Series recently received a host of M Performance parts, which are now being featured in a new video by the German carmaker. In the one-minute spot, we are taken on a tour of the show car’s exterior, which has plenty of carbon goodies attached to it.
This includes a front splitter, side mirror caps, rear diffuser and boot lid spoiler for starters. Other options include side stripes, a black kidney grille, side skirts (with adhesive film) and M Performance Style 669M Matte Black Bi Color wheels (with 245/35 front and 275/30 rear tyres). The latter is one of several available wheel and tyre sets offered.
Also on show is the M Performance sports brake system, which adds vented and perforated brake discs, four-piston, fixed caliper brakes on the front, and single-piston, floating caliper brakes at the back. As seen in the video, the calipers are finished in red.
For a more dynamic noise from the in-line six-cylinder turbo engine, the 5 Series can also be specified with the M Performance exhaust system, which introduces two chrome-plated 80 mm exhaust tips that are laser engraved with the M logo.
Browsing through the catalogue on BMW USA’s website, customers will also get to add on items such as a GoPro mount, M Performance drive analyser as well as stainless steel pedals.
