As of June 8, Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) announced that it has collectively recorded 2,500 bookings for the C27 Nissan Serena S-Hybrid. Of that, 757 units have been registered in just four weeks following its official launch last month.
Company sales and marketing director Christopher Tan said “bookings for the all-new Nissan Serena S-hybrid demonstrated the great acceptance of a hot new model from ETCM and we thank all our customers for their support. We will continue to deliver quality products, and at the same time we are increasing our production to ensure that all Serena S-Hybrids are delivered on time.”
The Serena S-Hybrid is available in two variants – Highway Star (RM127,874) and Premium Highway Star (RM139,195). Both are on-the-road prices without insurance and GST-free as well. The MPV is now a seven-seater instead of eight (more like 7+1) from before, and the middle row features two captain seats with Nissan’s Zero Gravity tech. There’s seven USB ports on the inside and both the powered sliding doors feature hands-free access via a kicking motion.
Power-wise, the MR20DD 2.0 litre direct-injected four-cylinder petrol engine makes 150 PS at 6,000 rpm and 200 Nm at 4,400 rpm. It’s fitted with a new dual-arm tensioner and is mated to an Xtronic CVT that channels drive to the front wheels.
For safety, it gets six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Control and ISOFIX anchoring points for child seats. Currently, customers can enjoy the company’s ‘Best Deal Ever 0% GST’ campaign, offering savings of up to RM4,000 for the Serena S-Hybrid thanks to duit raya savings (cash rebates) and the removal of GST.

Oso most of them took super high risk loans, that got higher chance for loan rejection. Then when that happens, they tell their bosses “Mou pin. Cannot get loan to buy the car”.

New Nissan Serena Hybrid C27 seems to me, it is still very boring design, basic technological features, not enough safety features and New Nissan Serena Hybrid C27 design look very ugly. Not only that, there is no much difference compare to Previous Nissan Serena Hybrid C26 New Facelift and it is almost the same as well as features and safety is same as previous Nissan Serena Hybrid C26. Moreover, All Nissan Models interior and exterior designs is too outdated, boring and ugly. Also all Nissan Models doesn’t have more safety features, technological features and other features were very basic and too outdated.
