In conjunction with the upcoming Merdeka celebrations this Friday, Touch ‘n Go has announced that users of their eWallet system will be offered a 100% cashback on LRT rides.
Looking at the fine print, those who want to enjoy the cashback will need to be registered as a QR Transit Tester and travel within seven selected LRT stations using the QR Transit feature on the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app.
The LRT stations include Kelana Jaya, Universiti, Kerinchi, KL Sentral, Dang Wangi, KLCC and Ampang Park – this promotion will only be valid on August 31 from 6am to 11.59pm.
For new users, you’ll first have to download and register for a Touch n’ Go eWallet account. The cashback amount will be credited into the eligible user’s account within seven days from the date of the LRT rides.
