The Volkswagen Fest is back for 2018 and is happening from now till Sunday night at the Setia City Convention Centre. The main highlights this year are the unveiling of the JOIN special edition range and the introduction of Volkswagen’s Customer Loyalty Programme.
Over the three days, visitors will get the chance to test drive the range of cars sold by Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM), and enjoy rebates and good deals on new and pre-registered cars. There will also be free petrol vouchers worth RM3,000 with selected pre-reg cars, and “Starbuys” such as a Vento from RM55,888 and the Golf GTI from RM188,888.
Those looking at a new VW can also take advantage of the SST price protection scheme. For the convenience of those intending to trade-in their car for a VW, there will be a free car evaluation and quick loan checks by partner banks on-site. There are carrots for existing owners too – free car checks and a special after-sales membership for owners of cars four years and older are available.
Car deals aside, the Volkswagen Fest 2018 will feature an outdoor movie screening (Herbie Fully Loaded, 8.30pm tonight) and a mini concert on Saturday night starring popular local acts Paperplane Pursuit, Bunkface and Talitha Tan, from 7.45pm.
VPCM is also promising “Klang Valley’s best food trucks,” buskers and Instagram-worthy art installations. A sunrise yoga and HIIT workout session will happen on Sunday morning, 8am to 10am. Admission is free.
After covering the launch of the JOIN special edition range this afternoon, we did a speed window browsing session before the storm hit. Some of the deals are really good – check out the pics below.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
VW cars on sale came with VPCM free servis?
They had to choose Geely instead. Proton today is reduced to a reseller of China cars.
Danny you have their promo prices for new units ?
It’s raining season.. all the best with your outdoor campaign
This is just th fest. Wait for their firesales when all their cars go to 50% less. Every year they have one.
Many VW owvers are all angry and upset. They buy, say, a Passat RM180k, then suddenly, VPCM does a firesales selling the same brand new and same year make Passat for RM100k
Be careful of VW cars. The Principal themselves throw prices in their firesales until the 2nd hand market also follows suit and there goes your RV.
This is why you hear people buying 3 year old Passat for RM40k.
Sales are so bad, now have to sell in Lazada. Somemore now Audi caught in further cheating, all the more people don’t want to buy any car from the same group. We all know VW, Audi are all Sama sama. Same cheating goes in Audi, Same cheating goes in VW
John, I am sure if Geely buys some shares in VW your opinion will change !!!
They cheat on the issue where consumer don’t care much. The wrong figure of emission which only concerned by government. How many car enthusiasts check that before buying their car?
Clever VW malaysia. Dumping all Pre reg cars in setia alam.
The real game changer! Can kill x70 easily bruh! Habislah proton!
