BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia has launched a new financing solution called Easy Drive to provide customers with easier accessibility and flexibility when it comes to owning a BMW or MINI model.
Under the Easy Drive plan, customers must first choose a downpayment of between 10-30%. Next, they will need to decide upon a loan tenure of three or four years, with mileage options of either 20,000 or 25,000 km annually.
From there, a monthly instalment is calculated and the guaranteed future value of the car will be agreed and signed upon – the latter to protect customers from unexpected depreciation, and serves as the value of the final payment.
Customers will then proceed to use the car (while paying the instalments) until the end of their tenure, whereby they will be presented with several settlement options. These include trading in the car and upgrading to another BMW or MINI model; returning the car with no further obligations; settling the final payment and purchasing the car outright; or extending their contract term.
Those who are looking for more value-added benefits can choose to pay an additional RM110 to the monthly instalment for Easy Drive Prime. By doing so, they will enjoy two years of exterior and interior car care and a Premium Mobility package that includes a branded SmartTAG device (with TnG card) and BMW Lifestyle Collection merchandise.
They will also be eligible for a three-year coverage of the Ultimate Protection Programme Elite, which covers both the driver and their vehicle for special relief, scratch and dent, compassionate flood cover and more. The coverage is underwritten by Allianz General Insurance Company.
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Instead of all these Easy Financing Scheme, just reduce your car prices. BMW Cars in Malaysia have the highest car prices in the world. Even higher than Singapore if you take the GDP Per Capita into consideration.
Singaporeans earn 5X more than Malaysians. And yet, their 530i is only SGD280k. On a one to one basis, it is far far cheaper than Malaysia at RM370k even with your SGD35k COE included.
Pls BMW Malaysia, time to reduce your car prices in Malaysia
COE 35k??? Singaporeans earn 5x than malaysians in dollar to dollar???
Dude, u must be living in dinosaur era… look at how singaporeans suffer now u will know
The prices are not BMW’s fault, it’s the government implemented laws on vehicle tax.
Average Government Servant in Singapore earn SGD8000 per month.
Average Government Servant in Putrajaya earn RM1200 per month
SGD8000 (RM25,000) VS RM1200
People buy BMW are rich people. So your comparison with Singapore is invalid.
And yet I see mostly are standard Japanese sedans in Singapore. In comparison, the ratio of luxury cars in Malaysia is much higher than Singapore. Care to explain why we can afford for more luxury cars and luxury landed properties here?
Becoz he is lying everytime he says something bro! Can just ignore him.
For those who can afford it only.. and they don’t make noise too.. if paying the monthly loan is problematic, then you cannot afford it..
BMW cars are so expensive. Where is the guy who used to tell us Malaysia has the cheapest petrol in the world and cheapest car prices in the world?
Aiyahh.. do u think that covers lambo & ferrari too..? Sure must be cheap here..
lone* tenure
Next, they will need to decide upon a lone tenure of three or four years, with mileage options of …
