Quill Automobiles recently launched its upgraded BMW showroom located in Petaling Jaya, which aims to provide an even better customer experience to visitors.
With over 33,000 square feet of built-up space, up to 14 BMW vehicles can be displayed in the showroom at one time. The showroom also features a new Grand Klasse (GKL) luxury boutique together with a customer lounge, the Isetta Bar and BMW Lifestyle area.
To meet the servicing needs of its customers, Quill Automobiles Petaling Jaya is supported by a standalone, 58,500-square feet service centre located in Section 13, which also houses a body and paint facility. A team of 90 staff members are on hand to ensure the dealership serves the full suite of sales, service, spare parts and systems (4S), including for the BMW Premium Selection pre-owned division.
“For over a decade, Quill Automobiles have been delivering our commitment to the BMW premium ownership experience to our loyal customers in Petaling Jaya. This commitment is now further strengthened with the opening of our new showroom which reflects the newest experience and expression from the BMW brand,” said Alex Tang, dealer principal of Quill Automobiles.
“The needs of our customers have always been at the forefront of everything we do. While it is our priority to deliver award-winning vehicles and industry-leading services to our customers, it is also equally important that we create the right environment and ambience for this experience,” commented Harald Hoelzl, managing director of BMW Group Malaysia.
At the event, the company also introduced the new 7 Series and X7, while launching its “X Marks the Future” campaign. Customers who purchase a brand-new BMW model from now until the end of the year (December 31, 2019) are entitled to ten entry forms to stand a chance to win a new BMW Z4 sDrive30i M Sport.
“Celebrating our opening and in appreciation of our customers who have been loyal and instrumental to our success, we are giving away an all-new BMW Z4, the most appealing and head turning premium roadster currently on Malaysian roads. This is the Quill Automobiles way of customer appreciation.” said Tang.

I wish Proton would be the same. Most Proton centres only give plain water to drink. The very posh ones just give Khong Guan biscuits with plain water.

Totally spot-on, drawing on my recent experience it can be a pain in the xxx dealing with the service centre, even the staff there admitted they’re short handed and they have difficulty hire good hands.
Yeah, our resident troll who always condemn in every good car brands, he doesn’t have enough of his knowledge to come up with good facts. Yes agreed. They really need to start planning on upgrading their service center capacity. Just too many delays and lack of professionalism problems has been a headache. So many days a car has to spend in the service center just for minor repairs and warranty claims. Please Quill, build a bigger service center or add a second service center location.
Quill service Centre – PJ – I got appointment after three weeks for service . When went for service today I complained them about sound . They told me it can not be done and may be they need another two weeks . I cancelled my service with them and went to near by workshop and got it done in two hours . How can you buy a car whose service needs 6 weeks . Quill automobiles and BMW Malaysia needs to attend this problem .

Yesterday was the first time in my whole life writing a comment on a paultan article, I was not here to court a debate/controversy, just speaking from own experience, having made a dozen of trips in the past year to quill service centre for an accident repair, a warranty claim, and a regular service. What Yong wrote resonated with me, maybe it’s just the two of us facing similar issues with the service centre and admittedly we can’t speak for all quill customers, but this shouldn’t discount the authenticity of our facts or belittle both of us at all. Owned a recond BM and some more 320 only already so proud. I wonder if you really own it, the service is just suck compare to Merz.

Got to have a look at the new showroom as it does look nice after the revamp. Unfortunately I have not been servicing my car there in the recent years since it’s quite far from where I live but I have to agree with the statements above that their old guard has left the SC. Not too sure about how well the new blood but the same can be said for Ingress Puchong.
Proton, Geely, volvo are same category car. Higher level will be Japanese, Follow by highest level German.
