F30 BMW 3 Series seen again, as the launch is nigh

A sure sign that a particular car model is set to be launched is when it starts springing up to sight in bunny-like fashion about town.

No rocket science needed to for that, or even to figure out which model type the clad car in the photos here happens to be, despite the attempt to hide the wooly mammoth in the cubicle with the swirly bits and uhm, black masking tape on the badging.

The F30 BMW 3 Series, which was seen on a transporter last week, has been spotted again, this time in Putrajaya. Reader Shauqi had plenty of time to snap the set of photos of the car, or cars in this case, at the Pullman. With other BMW vehicles up and about, the suggestion is that the F30 was probably part of some product training exercise.

Two examples of the new sedan, freshly road licenced, were at hand for the impromptu pix session. One’s a 328i in its Sport line configuration and wearing 18-inch alloys, the other a 320d with 17-inch wheels, though the diesel doesn’t look kitted out in the Modern equipment line form as when tested in Spain.

Anyway, expect to see these pop up with greater frequency until the launch, which is said to be late this month. Meanwhile, thanks go to Shauqi for the pix.

This is the exact car i saw yesterday. Was coming back from Putrajaya when two of these camouflauged cars were driving at a pretty high speed, escorted by an X1, a 325i cabrio, and a Mini Countryman.
