Production Nissan Pathfinder is identical to concept

The production Nissan Pathfinder has surfaced on the Net via Nissan’s own Facebook page, and it appears identical to the concept shown at this year’s Detroit show. Not too much of a surprise, since there wasn’t anything outrageous about the “concept” which looked as production ready as they come.

What we know now is that the 2013 Pathfinder is a seven-seater SUV with unibody construction in place of the old one’s body-on-frame layout. The Pathfinder shares a platform with the Infiniti JX SUV, which is also a seven-seater. The premium badged one is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine coupled to a CVT, so the Pathfinder may see the same combo. Full details when it’s officially revealed.

    Unibody, not related to Navara.
Nissan, please improve your absorber durability, your test drive vehicle absorber rosak but nobody bothered to change it and still let customers testdrive, leaving bad impression.
Telescopic steering please in all your high-end vehichles.
Pathfinder 2.5V6 may sell if priced at RM180OOO, NO need paddle shift, cruise control and plenty of electronics(autoheadlight, rain sensor, 6CD etc); just need 6 airbags + driver knee airbags + ESP. Intelligent key, leather seats + V-kool and reverse camera as standard.
BTW, to all of us: I don’t think Pathfinder will ever come to Malaysia.
