Nissan Micra Elle – the tiny tyke goes chic

Nissan Micra Elle – the tiny tyke goes chic

Ah yes, the special edition, always a good way to tout any car. Today’s special happens to be a Micra (or March, if you prefer), concocted up by Nissan and French fashion magazine, Elle. In the UK, it’s set to be a 500-unit limited run.

The Micra Elle has been given a dash of flair and is definitely aimed at the ladies, though Nissan says that the treatment is far more than just a badge on a car. Speaking of which, there’s Elle badging to be found on the tailgate and front fenders, as well as on the front floor mats and door sill guards.

Elsewhere, colours naturally lead the way, and there is a choice of three exterior shades, namely Shiraz Red, Alabaster White and Atlas Blue. Inside, the compact gets a new seat fabric covering.

There’s intelligent keyless entry and push button start among the standard kit, and key items to the edition include a panoramic glass roof, chromed accents to the lower part of the grille, chrome interior door handles, 15-inch titanium grey alloy wheels, fog lamps and a roof spoiler.

Two engine variant options abound, and the Micra Elle can be had in either 80 PS 1.2 litre three-cylinder or 98 PS 1.2 litre DIG-S supercharged forms. So, ladies, it’s just the sort of thing to have to make you truly vogue. Oops!
