The Los Angeles Auto Show is set to host no fewer than 22 world debuts between November 19 and 21, and the Nissan Juke Nismo RS is one of them.
We have no official info, but reports indicate that it could be powered by a turbocharged 1.6 litre four-cylinder engine that develops around 230 hp and nearly 300 Nm of torque – about 30 hp and almost 50 Nm more than the Nissan Juke Nismo (pictured).
Apart from the extra grunt, the RS will reportedly feature sports suspension with new springs, dampers and damper rates. Like the regular Juke Nismo, it could be offered as a front-wheel drive with six-speed manual, or an all-wheel drive with CVT.
The Juke Nismo RS will debut alongside another yet-unknown Nismo concept on the Nissan stand.
No Gtr 3.8L V6 5++ hp engine on it?
Im a Juke fan.. Ugly, Kinky & naughty.. I like.
I just don’t like CVT gearbox in a powerful car… Nissan should put more technologies into their cars rather than keeping the price low to boost sales. There are so many advance technologies in the GTR but none of the technologies are used in the other production cars. While the biggest group of car consumer is the people with normal income, the company should put more efforts on those more affordable cars so that more people can enjoy the benefits of new technologies. Not only performance will improve, but also enhance safety.
i’ve seen one with a diplomat plate number in ampang. actually the interior size and legroom is like suzuki swift. but the exterior is high like mini/compact suv.
