The Nissan Juke is now officially in Thailand, making it the sixth ASEAN country to get Nissan’s B-segment crossover after Indonesia, Vietnam, Brunei, and Singapore.
The Thai-spec Juke is sourced from Indonesia and gets a 1.6 litre HR16 engine that produces 116 PS at 5,600 rpm and 154 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, mated to a CVT. It’s a different combo from the Indonesian-spec car, which uses a slightly less powerful 114 PS/150 Nm 1.5 litre engine and a CVT.
The Juke comes with Integrated Control (I-Con), a system which manages both climate control and three vehicle drive modes: normal for everyday driving, sport for sportier driving or eco for fuel efficiency.
There’s also the Internet Connectivity Entertainment (I-Connect) system, which allows you to surf the internet through wi-fi on a detachable seven-inch screen. The system also has a voice control function.
E and V trim levels are offered, and prices start from 819,000 baht (RM82,400). By comparison, the most affordable 1.2 litre Nissan Almera with a CVT is priced from 489,000 baht (RM49,200). The current Toyota Vios is priced from 589,000 baht (RM59,300) for the most affordable automatic variant up to 734,000 baht (RM73,900) for the S Auto variant. So the Juke isn’t exactly cheap.
There has been plenty of interest in a crossover body style for the B-segment recently, with manufacturers launching cars like the Ford EcoSport and the Peugeot 2008 to cash in, and both the EcoSport and 2008 are coming to Malaysia. You could say the Juke pretty much pioneered the segment in recent times – will Tan Chong bring it in?

Ahh.. Again.. All good stuffs go to Thailand.. Poor Malaysia…
..and it’s only RM82k in Thailand
Nissan Note in end of 2014, Nissan A-segment in 2015, so probably Tan Chong bringing it in 2016?
Don’t worry fellow Nissan fans. Malaysia will launch this 7 years time when the model is about to change. That is how Tan Chong works. ETCM launches always the old model. Like the Teana. This was launched 7 years after it was introduced in Singapore.
In Singapore, it is still known as Cefiro. But ETCM so malu, they changed the Cefiro name to Teana because they wanted to clear their old stock of Cefiro Brougham. 7 or 8 years later, they launched the Teana.
Still want to buy from lempap ETCM?
Dual airbag n no esc/vsa
It show in nissan thai…2 airbag n no vsa

Why are you talking to yourself?
Brother! Look what you’ve stopped me from!! At least let me kill all these dumb human!!
Looking at the ads, grey market already price 150k. Seems if it end up here the price will be hitting twice the Thai price, 160k plus.. Ridiculous!! Really poor malaysian :'(
that one is the 1.5 turbo twin clutch one, not the same one as these thailand and indon cars
There is a lot of variant engine/spec on grey market, ranging price from 130k to 190k
In Malaysia, Re-cond Or 2nd Hand Import Car cost more than RM150K….. Poor Malaysiannnnn
Waited for 2 years after the test drive in PJ Nissan HQ. Called twice for enquiry about the Juke. Allocated budget for it but it just didn’t come in. Bought a 175 HP 360 NM torque turbo diesel SUV instead.
ur suv what brand?
Did you buy the new SsangYong Actyon?
Quiet means kimchi lo
Lucky Thailand.. I think in our country, the price would become a JOKE for a JUKE…
Coming to Malaysia end of 2015
Should be 2020.
ugly as hell!..im not bother if Tan Chong dont bring it to m’sia

In thai almera is part of eco car programme that that get lower tax incentive..p1 saga in thai does not fall under those categories but the price is cheaper than almera with tax incentive…
hey stupid KZM, who cares about all the engine displacements and accessories etc, we malaysian just want cheap japanese cars, do you understand?..stupid bustard
For Malaysia, it depends on much specs TCM can cut and sell for a ridiculous price and get MITI to agree. By the time they sort it out, everywhere else will get the facelift while we are stuck with the early design for a few years.
some people sell it on mudah.my about RM140,000 for 1.5L.. 2nd hand car… but now, lets wait for the official one.. hurmmm
I have a ride in this car in Jakarta Indonesia last year… i wonder why Tan Chong didnt bring this model in.. why it bring over the livina instead? That livina is ugly! They should’ve bring Nissan Juke to Malaysia instead
For those who don’t understand why we thank potong so much…please see the price difference…we suppose to be getting at that kind of range and not current price from T/H/N…etc! Thanks again potong…you make us so damn in deep love with you for not able to get a Vios at Thai price…Thank you PROTON!!! Please tell us when will you grow up or maybe wind up? Sick!!!!
Well thai vios will always rm10-15k cheaper than boleh even without p1
Tan Chong pls bring it in…
troll face car
Nissan have a lot of model with good quality. But TC is one heck of a slow “car importer /producer /seller”?. At the end, TC lost a lot of potential customers who know how good Nissan cars are. Like me, I bought a Toyota instead because I just can’t wait forever.
now thailand is a much more interesting market to car makers than malaysia… sigh… maybe before 2020 myanmar also more interesting than us….
stupid cock-sucking automotive policy….
tan chong malaysia really 386, Thailand , Vietnam and Singapore already launch New Teana and New Sylphy, and yet, Malaysia still no status yet. i wondering based on what basis, Nissan allow 386 company to do global business? end up all people dislike Nissan
both models coming next year la.
looking at the price I feel so cheated…damn….blood sucking government.period.
The upper and lower headlamps are very ugly to put together.
Tan Chong tell why no bring in juke now , I likes it
