Of course, you’ve seen the car completely undisguised, but only from one angle, so there’s nothing like a fresh load of spyshots to help you put the puzzle pieces together. The W176 Mercedes-Benz A-Class‘ facelift is expected to be a minor one, as you can no doubt see.
There should be a redesigned front bumper with a sharp splitter, a revised front grille and new LED headlamps. The previous all-camo-off shot also revealed what appeared to be a new green shade. Well, we don’t want to fix what ain’t broke, do we?
Inside, the updated hatchback is expected to get a new steering wheel, a colour instrument panel multi-info display and revised infotainment controls with flat buttons. A bigger COMAND screen may be offered as an option, too – an eight-incher is available on the B-Class facelift.
Regarding engines, the facelifted B 200 and B 250 got no output changes, so we don’t expect the corresponding A-Class variants to get any either. But who knows – Stuttgart may just surprise us.
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class facelift is expected to turn up at the Frankfurt show, so everything will be out then – September can’t come too soon for us!
