The battered F80 BMW M3 from Mission: Impossible

BMW M3 Mission Impossible 14

Aside from the BMW S1000RR motorcycle, the new BMW M3 is one of the more notable supporting elements in the fifth Mission: Impossible movie, which is set to premiere on July 31.

The early movie trailers of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation feature both machines, and there’s plenty of drama in the scenes involving the F80 M3; the unit seen in the film is finished in a beautiful Silverstone Metallic shade.

The car is on display in the presentation area at the BMW Press and Fleet Service in Garching, near Munich, and the photos you see here were snapped by Danny. Complete with bullet holes and copious amounts of damage, both externally and internally, the M3 is nonetheless still a sight to behold!

The showcase is part of the promotional activity at the 3 Series LCI international media drive, which is currently ongoing.

Introducing one of the big stars of the film. And its not Mr Cruise.

What’s the 3rd pedal? As far as I know, this is not a manual car. So that can’t be a clutch pedal (plus its appears to be too far to the left). It looks like its wired to the rear. Another handbrake perhaps? Or another brake pedal for left foot braking?

But wow, they did quite some damage to the car. Some (the fender scrapes) were probably accidental. The bullet holes were probably planned ahead.
