This just in – Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) has issued a recall for several units of its CLA 200 and CLA 45 AMG over a potential flaw involving the improper installation of several fuses located within the front passenger side fuse box. A statement issued by MBM points out that over a prolonged period, the electrical contact between fuses might be disrupted due to vibrations.
As such, the flaw might affect the operation of several comfort features including the sunroof and the auxiliary heating unit. However, according to Australia automotive portal, CarAdvice, the same recall issued recently in the country states that said flaw could result in improper deployment of the airbags.
The recall affects a total of 64 units in Australia – comprised of A-Class and B-Class models – built between September 8 and November 7 2014. Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has confirmed that all units of the A-Class sold here remain unaffected by the issue.

If its Lexus who did a simple recall like this, most german fanboys will start bashing Lexus for the sake of bashing them.. Merc on the other hand, not even 1 comment..
We Ah Peks will support Merc no matter what. Hidup Merc!! Hidup Merc!! Hidup Merc!!
^ the difference is this isnt a safety risk recall, unlike what has been happening to toyota and lexus.
