Perodua’s Tweckbot free car inspection programme, now in its sixth year of operation, is heading to Johor this week. The Tweckbot team will be stationed at the Giant Muar Mall, Johor from February 19 to 21, and will be offering a 50-point safety check, which will take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete per vehicle.
The automaker also carried out a pre-Chinese New Year Tweckbot run at the Giant Subang Jaya Mall on January 29 to 31, which saw 123 Perodua vehicles being inspected. Aside from the 50-point safety check, Perodua owners can also look forward to a 20 % discount on parts and accessories, applicable to vehicles that return to its service branches and dealers.
“We hope our customers would take advantage of our Tweckbot programme in ensuring their vehicle’s roadworthiness. This programme is our continued commitment towards giving our customers peace of mind by offering quality workmanship in all our products and services,” Perodua president and CEO Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh said.
Perodua’s Tweckbot project started in 2011, giving off free inspection with appointments made via social media. To allow for greater participation, P2 moved to giving Tweckbot team location updates on social as well as traditional media. The initiative surfaces during high-traffic festival periods.
