Proton is undertaking a new initiative that will benefit taxi drivers in Malaysia, called My Taxi. The special programme is designed to provide taxi drivers with dedicated assistance where their Protons are concerned.
The My Taxi programme has just 17 participating Proton Edar Sdn Bhd (PESB) outlets at the moment, and these outlets are geared to assure taxi drivers of fast service and quick turnaround times on every visit. Dedicated service advisors will be on hand, and there will even be a dedicated day (Sunday) each week where taxis would be given priority service above all other customers.
The participating PESB outlets are located nationwide – the 17 include:
- Section 13, Petaling Jaya
- Jalan Chan Sow Lin
- Puchong Jaya
- Centre of Excellence, USJ
- Seremban
- Serindit, Melaka
- Batu Pahat 2, Johor
- Larkin, Johor
- Plentong, Johor
- Johor Bharu
- Semambu, Kuantan
- Kuala Terengganu
- Kota Bharu
- Alor Setar 2
- Juru
- Jalan Makloom, Penang
- Ipoh
On top of these dedicated services that are only available at selected outlets, Proton is also introducing special discounts and promotions for taxis nationwide. Applicable at all Proton Edar service centres in the country, these additional services include:
- 25% discount on parts
- RM35 per hour labour rate – normally RM60
- Service priority completion of two hours – excluding required repair works
- Extended warranty of two years of 150,000 km – compared to standard 100,000 km
- Workmanship warranty of six months or 10,000 km
Looking to sell your car? Sell it with Carro.
Uber and GrabCar are haram. PERS1M is halal. Support Proton means supporting our taxi drivers
Api ini semua Proton saja.
as usual…Sabah and Sarawak is not important…because we all drive hilux…
so desperate. I bet they will start escort service also!!!!
In my opinion! I think most of the Taxi drivers couldn’t survive since they couldn’t compete with Uber and GrabCar and they are leaving the industry to join Uber and GrabCar.
Most probably Proton is trying to attract Malaysian taxi drivers with new incentives for them to stay on?
Cause 100% metered budget Taxis are made in Malaysia!
