F90 BMW M5 fully leaked ahead of scheduled debut

This is the all-new F90 BMW M5, which has been leaked ahead of its scheduled debut thanks to a South Korean YouTube channel. The leaked video attached here gives us a thorough look at the super sedan’s styling, both inside and out.

As you would expect with a BMW M model, the new M5 gets several cues to distinguish itself from a regular 5 Series. Starting at the front, you’ll find larger intakes as well as a double-louvre grille with ‘M5’ badging,

Proceeding down the sides, the sedan gains slightly larger wheel arches to accommodate the significantly wider tyres (275/35 at the front as shown here). As a result, the familiar Air Breather vents appear to be done away with, although they could be repositioned to the ‘M5’ gills on the front fenders.

There are also reprofiled side mirrors that should serve some aerodynamic purpose, a lower ride height and stylish alloy wheels. At the rear, trademark quad exhausts, a sportier bumper, black diffuser and bootlid spoiler complete the look.

Inside, the M5 doesn’t detract too far from a regular 5 Series, with the most noticeable change being a robot-themed gear lever. Other details include a sprinkling of red accents and M badges, together with some sports seats to reinforce its sporty credentials.

A point of interest is on the multi-function steering wheel, which features two red buttons labelled ‘M1’ and ‘M2’. If we had to guess, these should allow drivers to swap between individual driving modes that have been set earlier via the car’s iDrive system.

In another image, we see the selection screen for the M5’s new M xDrive all-wheel drive system, allowing drivers to select from 4WD, 4WD Sport and 2WD modes. The car will also come with a rear locking Active M Differential that will help in any tyre-shredding activities.

It was previously reported that a revised version of BMW’s 4.4 litre twin-turbocharged V8 (also seen in the M550i xDrive) will power the M5, which is claimed to provide even more power than its rival, the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic+ (603 hp and 850 Nm). We’ll have to wait for a few more hours before all is revealed, so stay tuned.

Who buy a BMW M5?? Someone who have loads of extra Cash who does not give a hoot about what people thinks & he likes to DRIVE & feel the power at the tip of his right foot.

Chances are he is a Gentleman with a small family who like a sedan that can seat 4 people with a boot that can take enough luggage over the weekend for a short holiday.

For around RM900,000 this M5 will put a smile on the driver face every time he gets out from the body hugging seat & not feel jaded or tired from a long journey.

What is more interesting is this car can still run with the wolfs(sports cars) & still looks like a Premium German sedan when it is park in a parking lot without looking out of sorts with other up market vehicles.

It is a car for everyday drive for all sorts of usage if you get the drift without breaking your bank. In short, you get more bang for your $$$ & the car still look like your son lecturer BMW 5 series. He he he he. Cheers…

    • At least better than Lexus GS F that cost RM1.1M but still using big cc outdated NA engine that make the roadtax costly. Better put twin-turbo charged in the engine la.
