2016 Honda Civic accessories shown – take your pick

Honda’s US division has released massive avalanche of new information regarding the all-new 2016 Honda Civic – a full technical breakdown of the tenth-generation of Honda’s iconic C-segment sedan, which should be an accurate representation of what us ASEAN lot will get as well, will come soon, so stay tuned. In the meantime, the H brand has also previewed the vast range of accessories that will be offered.

And it look like you can really bling it up indeed – outside, you can fit a full bodykit consisting of a front, side and rear underbody spoilers and a choice between a bootlid spoiler and a wing, as well as fog lights, chrome lower door garnish and unique 17-inch alloy wheels.

There are also add-ons to protect your car from everyday dings and scratches, including a front mask, side body mouldings, door edge guards, a rear bumper protector, splash guards, a car cover, door visors and even a moon roof visor.

More trinkets to be found inside – light up the interior with ambient lighting, console lighting and illuminated door sill guards, and add functionality through items like an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, a first-aid kit, cargo hooks and nets, a trunk tray and a wireless smartphone charger. An engine block heater is more appropriate for colder climes in certain parts of the US.

Billed as one of the most comprehensive and ambitious model developments Honda has ever undertaken, the new Civic is lighter, safer, stiffer, more aerodynamic and more refined than before, and comes with two new engines – including a 174 hp/220 Nm 1.5 litre turbocharged mill – as well as a host of new technology, including Agile Handling Assist brake torque vectoring and Honda Sensing driver assist features.

Definately some fools do still buy the altis but not in Thailand, it’s a taxi here. The taxi image saved the Thais from buying a stupid car without a vsc

Civic is not used for taxi because it couldn’t last long enough for the driver to break even.

Yes, they are free. In fact, the car itself is free too. Everything is free except for the car keys, which cost approximately RM140K for 2 sets of keys.

In US, 8 airbags is standard. In Malaysia, do we get 8 airbag too or that savings go to Najib?
