GST zero-rated: Naza Motor Trading revises car prices

Naza Motor Trading, the importer of pre-owned luxury car and bike brands beyond Naza Group’s automotive portfolio, has announced a new price list in line with the government’s decision to reduce the 6% goods and services tax (GST) to 0% from June 1.

The company adds that its new price list with zero-rated GST – with a sample of available models listed in the table below – will be valid until the commencement of the sales and service tax (SST) that will eventually be reintroduced to replace GST. Yesterday, the ministry of finance revealed that the SST rate will be set at 10%, the same as it was when GST took over from it in April 2015.

Aside from the GST rebate, customers are also set to enjoy discounts of up to 15% on new and used luxury vehicles such as the Toyota Alphard, Vellfire and Harrier.

Also, buyers of four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles stand a chance to win an all-expenses-paid three-day/two-night trip to watch the 2018 FIFA World Cup semi-finals in Moscow. The promotions are part of the Naza Gaya Raya Autofair 2018, which runs until June 30.
