Razer Pay is celebrating its partnership with the Malaysia Tech Week 2019 conference by tying up with Proton in a new contest. The cashless mobile payment service is offering customers a chance to win a one-off customised version of the facelifted Iriz.
The Razer Edition of the B-segment hatch comes in black with Razer’s signature neon green accents usually found on the company’s gaming paraphernalia. The viridescent hue is slathered along the roof, bonnet and even the full-width grille strip that is finished in chrome on the standard Iriz.
No other custom touches have been mentioned, but wouldn’t it be cool if the LED daytime running lights lit up in RGB colours, just like the Razer Chroma lights on the company’s keyboards, mice and headphones?
Anyway, customers can participate in the contest by using the app to make purchases at Starbucks, 7-Eleven, Celcom Xpax and the Razer Gold gaming rewards service, from now until June 30. So, what do you think of the black-and-green colour scheme?

Razer is not a capalang brand, they must have seen something with Proton that can carry their image and brand name forward. Razer peripherals are gaming gear aimed for the youngsters, their branding is all about youngsters so tying up with Proton and using Iriz as their main promo, they must have seen Proton is in the hearts & minds of young Malaysians.
