The lightly taped up facelifted white Proton Persona with the B2641A trade plate has been snapped again, this time by reader Rai. He has 5 photos to share with us, including a close up of the taped up wing mirror with an integrated turn signal. Alot are expecting the new updated Persona to be launched this year. Apparently we’ll be able to look forward to better driveability from the engine as the ECU has been updated to a newer model. For the rest of the photos, look after the jump.

AI-generated Summary ✨
Comments on the Proton Persona facelift are mostly mixed, with many criticizing its mild cosmetic changes, such as the front grille, bumper design, and lights, which they feel lack originality and look outdated. Several mention that the facelift is primarily aesthetic, not addressing underlying quality or safety issues, and compare it unfavorably to other models like Myvi or Honda civics that had more noticeable updates. Enthusiasts express hope for a more substantial future model, possibly with a new platform or engine, especially the upcoming Persona-R. Some appreciate the accessories and minor enhancements like LED taillights, but overall, there’s a consensus that Proton should focus more on improving quality, safety, and unique design elements rather than frequent, superficial facelifts.
