Most of the problems can’t be solved by ur BS SC but can be solved by us customers. My car has only 10k km mileage but have sent back 5 times and problem can’t be solve and the best thing is that ur BS SC blame everyone in the world except their own uselessness and also ur BS BQ and QC cars. I would like to specific this SC is Sri Peringgit Old Klang Road total BS SC.

Problems from day 1:
1. Front Bonnet Paint Problem
2. Gaps Problem (join Honda City group and u will know) (not solved but gave up as it doesnt produce rattling sound)
3. Door trim, front panel, window rattling (not solved)
4. viper problem (not solved)
and many many more..
If u are not rushing, pls wait for a better car.
In terms of specs yes Honda City wins thats the reason why i got it but its BQ and QC sucks till non explainable.
Hope the Vios or Almera comes out a facelift version with improved specs and do get them.

You get what you pay. My advice, turn the radio out loud and just close ur one eye for the problems. Every car sure have problem. Just live with it. Even god create us also have problem.

Drove my new City for past 5 months and around 7k mileage. Overall i love the car and its been fantastic driving it with low FC.
Only problem i faced is the rattling on dashboard when going over rough surfaces which happens on and off. On a good day there won’t be any noise.
Another would be the driver side door trim has a metallic sound coming from it. It only happens if i push the door panel along the fabric area or going over a harsh bump.
It is irritating at the beginning but i got used to it. Small problems in an otherwise good and safe car. Sometimes we should try looking at the good points of the car instead of worrying about some small issues and the City has a lot of good points in it. This car ticks all the specs that i need in a car which are Safety, Practicality and low FC.
Vios, Almera, Polo and other CKD B segment will face some sort of same issue one way or another. Check the forums and user reviews from websites and you will know. Most CKD car have the same type of issues, trust me and just close one eye, you get to enjoy the car for the next 3-7 years instead of regretting it and fuming all the time.
Shall plan to get the new Jazz as second family car.

Well Mr Snack Bar/haha. You have been complaining over and over on the same topic for quite some time in past Honda posts until now. Get over it will you.
Like you said you went to service center 5 times and still can’t solve. So just follow Alan/Zack advice and close one eye on those minor problems. If you really can’t stand it then sell the car already and get Vios or Almera or Iriz and you would probably face the same problem now. Honestly if you want save money just get the Iriz for your next car. Saves you the money and just as safe. Even if there are defects at least you won’t complain so much.
If the problems are the engine, suspension or other key components of the car i would understand your gripe but these small problems with fit and finish is present in any car. Look at BMW forums and see what issues they face. Its THE SAME shit when it comes to CKD units.
No car is defect free no matter the marque. It’s just either minor like yours or major where parts breakdown.
I just wonder, since you harp about other brands and stuff, what would you do when you change this City to another brand and face the same problems will you stay quiet and eat your words or start harping about the other brand.

I would probably get a lot of flame for this but I’d venture to say the Suprima S’ rear looks nicer. More squat and muscular. Plus the tail lamps look better at night.

Its essentially the same car as the old one performance wise.Honda Malaysia is still using the same SOHC unlike US and JPN DOHC earth dreams tech. Poor Malaysians.Pay close to rm 90k for this jazz better buy the city! City looks nicer even though the butt copied from BMW! or its rivals rio, fiesta, swift sport, Attrage etc.
If you notice the rubber when opened the door, you will find that it is separate(half covered the door, half at the car).
1.Why don’t Honda make it one go to prevent tears and wear occur easily?

2.Specs are wise and best of the segment. But the seat, for me personally when first view the car, so cheap.
The good side of the car,
1. If you are single or space is not a problem, is the best choice compared to vios; and if city looks ugly to you( yes, city is really ugly for me). Well City and Jazz are almost the same machine.

Sorry for the rant. I was correct only with the BS BQ and QC of Honda Malaysia but at least their after sales service is good.
However, I would like to single out this branch – Peringgit Auto @ Old Klang Road, the so called best performing branch in Malaysia.
Their service quality really pulls down Honda Malaysia face. Just found out from a few other SC that this BS SC spoil my door and did not even inform me on that.

Ford, gearbox issues.long waiting for sparepart.
Toyota, cheapo plastic, weak drive shaft, steering rack, absorber leakage, sludge and burn oil in engine.
VW, DSG, rattled dash.
Merc, Axle, drivetrain, bearings
