As New Year celebrations are gearing up, let’s take a few moments to remind ourselves that not all of us are that lucky. The floods affecting the northern region of our nation has gone from bad to worst with more than a 100,000 people evacuated from their homes.
Perodua, in collaboration with Majlis Keselamatan Negara (MKN), has given out RM40,000 worth of emergency supplies to the victims – sleeping bags, food and bottled water were among the items handed out. The operation began on December 19 with Perodua also dispatching volunteers to help with the situation.
In addition to emergency supplies, the firm is offering a 20% discount on selected parts and free inspections to owners whose cars were damaged by the floods. The company will reimburse owners a maximum of RM100 for towing services to the nearest Perodua service centre.
For further enquiries, customers can contact Perodua at its toll-free hotline at 1800-88-6600.

What a great company. I am proud of you Perodua. but what about DRB Hicom and all of Syed Mokhtar’s companies?
What are they doing? Nothing? Take so much from the Government. Take berpuluh puluh billions but don’t give anything back to flood victims?
Tolong lah DRB Hicom and Syed Mokhtar. Government give you everything to run. Everything. The least you can do is help the victims like Perodua.
This is typical UMNO crony company. Take take take take. But don’t give a sen back!
WTF are raging on????? PROTON has done a lot of CSR and definitely have taken part in helping the flood victims…. it’s just they don’t make huge HUHA noise to the media for every single CSR they have done…unlike Perodua even a very small donation is a big HUHA to the media…. get the fuck off PROTON back on this one…get a fucking life… at least do you bit on helping the victims rather than acting tough or holy on the internet…stupid asshole…
Typical perutdua. Only donate 40k make a big hoo haa for publicity. Other ppl donate few hundred k to 1 million oso didn’t kecoh. Ptui!!
Hmmm… a bit slow than proton.. but better than do nothing.
But hope do they huge discount and free cleaning inside their car.
That’s something victim need at this critical moment. Good move P2
Only 40k? That’s lame.
Good going Perodua. Hope you top up some more. Thank you.
Hopefully the cost of repairs will not exceed the cost of the car itself.
P2 make tons of money from the lower income bracket and yet only donate RM40k?
And yet make a big hu-ha about it?
why theres no cock bashers here like in Proton article? hahahahaha
