Perodua’s Tweckbot programme is back to offer its free 50-point safety check for all Perodua vehicles in conjunction with the upcoming fasting month of Ramadan and the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
“This programme is our continued commitment towards giving our customers peace of mind by offering quality workmanship in all our products and services. We hope our customers would take advantage of our Tweckbot programme to ensure of their vehicle’s roadworthiness before making the long journey to reunite with their family and loved ones during this festive celebration,” said Perodua president and CEO, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh.
The Tweckbot programme, introduced in 2011, engaged customers via social media to offer free safety inspections at specified time and locations. It was then modified to reach out to more Perodua owners by using both new and traditional media to announce the appearances of the Tweckbot team.
Aminar said for pre-Hari Raya, Perodua Tweckbot vehicles will be stationed at the Mesra Mall in Kerteh, Terengganu between 10am and 6pm, from May 26-28, while for post-Hari Raya, Tweckbot will be available in the central region. The dates, time and location will be announced later on the company’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
The 50-point safety check will take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. It includes checks on the engine and transmission, coolant system (coolant level, fan and temperature), brake system (fluid and brake pad wear), power steering, clutch, tyres, suspension, electrical system (including battery, lights and wiper) and engine diagnosis.
A 20% discount for parts and accessories will be given to vehicles that return to Perodua dealers. Another 10% will be given to Perodua Circle members. The Perodua UFirst rewards programme team will also be on the ground to sign owners up.
